Louies Voice for the Wild: The UK’s First Touring Rainforest Conservation Event Launches in Partnership with RSPO and Umberslade Adventure

A groundbreaking family-led eco experience launches in 2026 — led by Jungle Lifeline CIC and Louie the Orangutan, the world’s first fully-flanged animatronic orangutan ambassador.

[Solihull, UK – 2026] — Jungle Lifeline CIC, the family-run community interest company behind The Jungle Hut and Look, It’s Louie, proudly announces Louie Voice for the Wild — the UK’s first immersive rainforest conservation event.

Hosted at Umberslade Adventure, the official venue partner, this flagship event will take families on a journey through the rainforest — celebrating wildlife, sustainability, and the urgent need to protect our planet’s wild places.

Jungle Lifeline CIC is also partnering with the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) to highlight how choosing certified sustainable palm oil can protect rainforest habitats and endangered species such as orangutans.

At the heart of the event stands Louie the Orangutan, the world’s first fully flanged animatronic orangutan ambassador, inspiring audiences to become a Voice for the Wild.

Event Highlights

  • Ethical invertebrate encounters celebrating the small but mighty creatures vital to rainforest ecosystems.

  • Sustainable Palm Oil Discovery Zone, created in partnership with RSPO.

  • Eco-market stalls featuring ethical brands, green innovators, and local artisans.

  • Rainforest crafts, educational talks, and conservation workshops for all ages.

  • “Rhythm of the Rainforest” African Drum Workshop — an interactive family drumming experience celebrating the music, culture, and spirit of the world’s rainforests.

Throughout the year, Jungle Lifeline’s Look, It’s Louie: The Conservation Tour will continue the mission — a mobile pop-up conservation stand travelling across the UK to bring Louie’s message to schools, markets, and festivals.

A Message from the Founder

“We wanted to create something the UK had never seen before — a conservation event that’s inspiring, hands-on, and family-led,” said Darren Edwards, founder of Jungle Lifeline CIC and creator of Louie the Orangutan.

“Partnering with RSPO and hosting at Umberslade Adventure allows us to bring real-world conservation into a setting that feels alive and meaningful. Louie’s Voice for the Wild isn’t just an event; it’s a movement. We’re bringing the rainforest to our communities and showing that conservation can be exciting, ethical, and achievable for everyone.”

Jungle Lifeline CIC is inviting companies, ethical brands, and eco-focused organisations to join this pioneering event as partners or sponsors.
