Our Impactful Work

Jungle Lifeline is proud to support a growing network of conservation and educational initiatives — protecting endangered wildlife, preserving rainforest habitats, and inspiring a new generation of conservationists both in the UK and around the world.

Animal Rescue& Rewilding in South America

In the heart of Peru’s Amazon rainforest, we support a frontline animal rescue and rehabilitation centre that works tirelessly to save injured and trafficked wildlife — including monkeys, macaws, and wild cats. With your help, we fund emergency care, long-term sanctuary space, and the safe reintroduction of animals into protected jungle areas.

We’re also proud to align with the mission of Junglekeepers, a Peruvian NGO protecting over 55,000 acres of primary rainforest. Their team of forest rangers patrols, monitors, and safeguards this vital land from illegal logging and exploitation. Jungle Lifeline aims to help strengthen their work by raising awareness and funds to expand their reach and keep the forest standing.

Orangutan & Habitat Protection in Indonesia

In Southeast Asia, Jungle Lifeline is committed to supporting orangutan conservation and rainforest protection efforts in Borneo and Sumatra. These regions are home to critically endangered orangutans who face daily threats from palm oil deforestation and illegal wildlife trade. Through future partnerships, we hope to contribute to habitat protection, community reforestation programs, and the

long-term care of displaced or orphaned orangutans.

Our ambassador Louie the Orangutan is central to this mission — helping raise awareness about the rainforest crisis and inspiring thousands of children and families to take action.

Our Global Partnership: Bukit Lawang Trust

We’re excited to be supporting the incredible work of Bukit Lawang Trust, a grassroots charity providing free education to children in remote rainforest communities in North Sumatra. Through our new Jungle Connections project, we’re giving children here in the UK a chance to learn about rainforest life, and connect with children overseas through care, creativity, and conservation.

UK Education Through Community Engagement

Back home, Jungle Lifeline powers meaningful, wildlife-based education through the award-winning experience The Jungle Rangers' Jungle Hut and the famous Look, It’s Louie!. These hands-on programmes connect children with rainforest creatures, conservation stories, and real-world solutions — nurturing empathy, curiosity, and a lifelong passion for the wild.

A Voice for the Jungle – Right Here in the UK

Jungle Lifeline exists to be a voice for the rainforest, even from thousands of miles away. Based in the UK, our mission is to raise awareness, inspire action, and connect people to the incredible wildlife, people and fragile ecosystems of the world’s jungles. We believe that conservation starts with understanding – and by educating and empowering communities here at home, we can make a real difference for those on the frontlines of rainforest protection. Through talks, outreach, and hands-on experiences, Jungle Lifeline brings the spirit of the jungle to life and champions the vital message that we all have a role to play in protecting our planet’s wildest places.

Help Louie

By booking Louie the world first life like male Orangutan costume , you’re not only bringing a unique experience to your event, but also helping spark crucial conversations about Orangutan conservation. Each appearance raises awareness about the urgent need to protect these incredible animals and their habitats. Your booking supports efforts to preserve orangutans, so together, we can continue the fight for their future—one conversation at a time.
