Dear Founding Explorers,

Firstly... thank you.

The fact that you're reading this means you've become one of the very first people to believe in a dream that has been growing for many years.

If I'm honest, I'm incredibly nervous.

Over the last few years, The Jungle Hut has grown from a small wildlife education project into something that has inspired thousands of children and families to discover a love for wildlife and conservation.

Recently, we've been given an incredible opportunity to expand everything we do.

An opportunity to create The Jungle Experience—a much larger conservation and education centre here in Solihull, allowing us to rescue and care for more species, welcome more schools and families, develop bigger educational programmes, and inspire even more people to help protect our natural world.

It's the opportunity I've always dreamed of.

But dreams like this come with a price.

As a small, family-run, not-for-profit Community Interest Company, we simply don't have the funds needed to transform an empty barn into the conservation attraction we all imagine. Every enclosure, every themed wall, every plant, every educational display and every improvement has to be funded somehow.

That's why your support means so much.

It isn't just helping us buy materials or build exhibits.

It's giving this dream a chance to become reality.

Quite simply...

You're our lifeline.

This private journal is my promise that you'll be part of every step of the journey.

I'll share the exciting moments, the planning meetings, the design sketches, the building work, the challenges we'll inevitably face, and hopefully plenty of celebrations along the way.

I want you to see the real story—not just the finished attraction, but everything it takes to build it.

One day, when visitors walk through the entrance to The Jungle Experience, I hope you'll be able to look around with pride, knowing that none of it would have happened without people like you believing in us when all we had was a dream.
